Ingenuity of Human Moments
Throughout his life, photographer Peter Badge has been fascinated by people – famous or unknown – who have made a decision impact in scientific, cultural, social, political terms on changing our world into a better, more peaceful, more exciting, more interesting place from his point of view. These include projects such as “Nobel Heroes” a portrait series of over 400 Nobel Prize winners, but also “Masters of Abstraction” a portrait of the winners of the Turing Award, ACM Prize in Computing, the Abel Prize, the Fields Medal and the Nevanlinna Prize, but also the participants of the Apollo 11 mission (Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins), as well as Project Elvis who features people from the life of Elvis Presley, or the hero of Manhattan’s Christmas tale Sully Sullenberger, Formula 1 drivers, icons of economics, people who simply do good like philanthropists, and many more.
Peter Badge and TAMc have decided to make this work available to collectors digitally for the first time in pieces as NFTs, as they both share the same vision and want to donate a portion of the proceeds to support education and science in the future. We aim to motivate and provide resources to identify, groom and motivate underprivileged and yet talented youths around the world, enabling them to reach greater heights academically.
TAMc believes that education is more than cramming for exams; we believe that an innovation-centered mindset in education is paramount yet lacking in. More should be done to enrich the opportunities in Research and Development. With this mission in mind, we see the birth of the World Heroes by Peter Badge Collection, as a platform to fulfil our “impossible made possible ” mission.
